Tried to have a nice conversation with the owner. Even tried to pay for drinks for the owner. But this man is just trying to rip me off and threaten me. If I could give -5 stars, I would have. What a shitty place!

“My house my rules” As soon as Ferry closed me and my friend went to this dive bar expecting to have fun. It took us around 20/30 minutes to get in. We went downstairs and left our jackets in the wardrobe, then we joined the club and found out that it was just a really small and overcrowded room. We went to the bathroom stairs and the owner pointed at us with a bright lantern calling us to order giving us no time, we ignored it cuz we wanted to dance a bit before ordering, but just a minute later, he again pointed at us while we were among the crowd. He started yelling that we had to order something and if we didn’t like it we could leave, “my house my rules” he repeated around 4 times. He also argued with my friend cuz he had a shirt on top of his T-shirt, this guy said that he was wearing a jacket and so he had to bring it to the wardrobe, with really bad manners he insisted my friend to show him the wardrobe tickets so we did. At that point we were forced to order 2 beers but we were so annoyed and uncomfortable that I told my friend that we should better leave. We then turned around and went to the wardrobe while he was serving the beers (not the best action but he didn’t deserve better). The owner followed us and fought us AGAIN. It was the first and the last time setting foot in that place, there are way safer and better places in Rotterdam than this “bar”. If you wanna force people to drink then charge people for admission with drinks included. The rest of the staff were fine, I’m sorry for them to have this guy as a boss.

Barthender/owner overcharged me, couldn’t provide me with a receipt, said it’s gone :). I ordered 2 double vodka redbull, he used only 1 redbull for it but charged for 2. When I pointed on that he said if you don’t like you can leave. Cloakroom charging money for your jacket and shirts and sweaters separately! Even tho I put them in the sleeves of a jacket.

If I could I wouldn’t even give this bar a single star. The security is extremely rude, absolutely no hospitality going on in that stinky bar whatsoever. And the vibe is simply toxic. I had memories here before but it’s such miserable bar now. I mean it’s so embarrassing when you realise that they feel the need to WARN YOU upon arrival on buying a drink or you will be pretty much dragged out of it. Pathetic really.. Let me not even start on the hygiëne… I don’t recommend anyone to go here because the staff/owner there are simply way to full of themselves, I’m glad to see that I’m not the only one to think of this place as the trash bin it is.
