LGBTI Support Center (Helsinki Committee)

The LGBTI Support Center is a programme of the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights of North Macedonia. It provides legal aid, advocacy and community support to LGBTI people, and documents hate crimes and discrimination. The center was the target of violent attacks during the 2013 Pride Week, and for the safety of the community it does not widely advertise a public street address; travellers should make contact through the Helsinki Committee rather than dropping in. It remains a central pillar of LGBTQ+ support and advocacy in Skopje.
