European Summer Pride is a week-long LGBTQ+ holiday event in Faro, run by the team behind European Snow Pride, the gay ski week in the Alps. Its first edition was scheduled for 26 September to 3 October 2026 and built around Praia de Faro: beach days, water sports, after-beach parties on a catamaran, dinner-and-cabaret nights, karaoke, club nights and day trips around the Algarve, sold as a week pass with partner hotels.
It's a commercial pride week, not a community march. Faro's community Pride is the Marcha do Orgulho LGBTQI+ do Algarve (MOA) in June. Dates for a 2027 edition hadn't been announced when we checked in October 2026, so check europeansummerpride.com before booking.

A deposit of 30% is required to validate the booking of your Event Pass and options, with the balance due by August 25, 2026.
Getting Around
Faro has a public transportation system including buses and trains. Taxis and ride-sharing apps are also available. The airport is well-connected to the city center.
