Fantastic big room, just steps to restaurants, bars and shops. Ajita was great and happy to help to make our stay even better. She stayed late to book us in. To be in the heart of Porto, book this place.

We had a wonderful stay at Deuxmecs! We were able to arrive a night early on short notice, and they were incredibly flexible and very helpful. Manuel and Ronni were simply fantastic – always ready to help and provided us with lots of great tips, from parking to the nearby surf school. The restaurant recommendations were also excellent, both for a sundowner and for dinner – all small, lovingly run restaurants. The rooms are spacious, and we were immediately charmed by the thoughtful design. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the breakfast was simply delicious. We felt like we were staying with friends and can wholeheartedly recommend this boutique hotel. We will definitely be back!

A Little Gem in the Heart of Porto Based on its numerous outstanding reviews, we chose the DEUXMECS Hotel in Porto, and what can we say? Our expectations were not only met but far exceeded. This privately run boutique hotel is anything but an ordinary city hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warmth that immediately made us feel welcome, as if we were truly at home. The lovingly designed entrance area transported us to another world, a world full of charm, style, and personality. The hotel is located right in the heart of the city, nestled in the pedestrian zone, making it easy to explore many sights, cafés, and restaurants on foot. Yet, as soon as you enter the building, a pleasant tranquility descends, as if you've stepped away from the hustle and bustle. The hotel's Art Deco design is a real eye-catcher. With meticulous attention to detail and an unmistakable sense of aesthetics, each room is individually and tastefully furnished. Everywhere you look, there are little, special touches to discover. The hotel is located in the heart of the city, nestled in the pedestrian zone, making it easy to explore many sights, cafés, and restaurants on foot. The welcome was exceptionally warm: We were greeted with a drink at a large table in the open reception area while check-in was handled in a relaxed manner. Our personal breakfast preferences were also taken into account – a lovely, individual touch that demonstrates the importance placed on the well-being of each guest. We had booked two rooms, both charmingly decorated in their own unique way. The attention to detail was evident throughout – each room was a little gem, instantly creating a welcoming atmosphere. It was almost a choice: explore Porto or simply stay in the room and soak up the wonderful ambiance. Our conclusion: We were fortunate enough to spend a few wonderful, unforgettable days in Porto, thanks in no small part to this special hotel, which is run with heart and soul. A little tip: The hotel offers an airport transfer, which is highly recommended. Since it's located in the pedestrian zone, only authorized vehicles are permitted to drive directly to the hotel – this service makes the arrival much more stress-free. Important to know: The DEUXMECS is housed in a lovingly restored historic building. Therefore, in keeping with its original charm, there is no elevator. This wasn't a problem for us, but it's good to know in advance.

We spend 5 wonderful nights in this beautiful boutique hotel. Perfect place to stay in porto. The staff is very kind and nice. We will come back in the future.

We stayed in a wonderful large room with our own terrace at this small boutique hotel with a perfect location, a few minutes’ walk from the metro. It is an old jewellery shop which has recently been converted into a fully modernized hotel. I don’t remember a service level like here. If you’re going to Porto, please consider this option. It is personal, quiet, relaxed and very open to different lifestyles. We really recommend this hotel. 😊

My stay at DEUXMECS Porto was simply exceptional. Everything was impeccably clean, with an elegant design and full of thoughtful details. The atmosphere is cozy and peaceful, ideal for relaxing after exploring the city. The staff was wonderful, always friendly and attentive. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. The location is perfect, right in the historic center but in a quiet area. In short, an unforgettable boutique experience with excellent value. I will definitely return!

My young adult daughter and I spent three nights at Deuxmecs in June 2025. We had a great experience and would definitely stay there again if we return to Porto. We used the transfer service to get from the airport to the hotel. Anna, our driver, was very friendly and knowledgeable about Porto and helped us finalize our plans on what to do in Porto. Upon arriving at the hotel we were greeted by Ajita, the innkeeper at Deuxmecs. Ajita is the best. She got us checked in, took our breakfast order, and brought us to our room. We had the room on the fourth floor - each floor has only one room that is the entire width of the hotel. The stairs are steep but the room made for a very comfortable home base for our three nights in Porto. The room was large and clean with a huge shower and air conditioning. It looked exactly like the images on the website. The breakfast at Deuxmecs was delicious and the location of the hotel can’t be beat. On the day we left we accidentally left a small bag in the lobby. Ajita noticed and called to let me know. I didn’t have time to run back to the room and make it back to the train station in time for our train so Ajita ran to the train station to bring me the bag 💓. Thanks for a great stay in Porto!

What a wonderful hotel! Deuxmecs is the true essence of a boutique hotel. Our room with a terrace was a real highlight in terms of design – so much originality and incredible comfort. The huge rain shower, the fluffy bathrobes, and the generous space made everything even better. We had an amazing view over Porto and could admire the beautifully lit Torre dos Clérigos right from our terrace. Breakfast was phenomenal and included in the price. We booked directly through the hotel’s website – I highly recommend doing the same! The team was incredibly helpful and very discreet. Ajita gave us such a warm welcome. We will definitely return! A stay at Deuxmecs is truly incomparable – we can’t recommend it enough.

It has been great to spend a few nights in this beautiful Hotel. I’ll definitely book here again on my next trip to Porto. - The location is very central and perfect to walk to everywhere - The building has been renovated beautifully keeping the character of the building and not sacrificing the dimensions of the rooms. Everything in the room felt high end. - The staff were very helpful and welcoming, they helped us to arrange tours and recommend delicious restaurants and local bars. - The breakfast was very tasty and well presented. All their products are organic

This beautiful boutique hotel, located in an unbeatable location in the heart of Porto (you can walk to any point of interest), is a true gem for those who appreciate good taste, comfort, and premium service. The moment you step inside, you feel you're in a special place. You notice the difference upon arrival: you're like a guest being awaited, offered a warm welcome, fresh infused water, and, if you wish, a glass of Port. DEUXMECS is housed in a beautiful building whose original character has been preserved. The decor is meticulously curated, with elegance, personality, and a touch of whimsy, creating a welcoming and special atmosphere. You'll love browsing the bookshelves on the top floor! The rooms are truly spacious, very comfortable, exquisitely decorated, and perfectly equipped to guarantee rest and privacy (I believe there's only one room per floor, so you won't be disturbed by the neighbors). Our room also featured a spacious bed, a bathroom (the shower was amazing!), and a lovely, practical sitting area. But what truly sets DEUXMECS apart is the customer service: the owners, Manuel and Alex, are delightful, always attentive to your needs, and offer a completely personalized experience. Here, you're not just a number, but a guest to be pampered. They make you feel right at home! Breakfast deserves special mention: varied, delicious, and entirely à la carte. You can choose fresh fruit, their delicious homemade granola with yogurt and berries (I want the recipe!), coffee, fresh juice, eggs... everything is delicious, organic, and follows a zero-waste policy, so no food goes to waste. I'd also like to mention their transfer service: Ana is a delight, always punctual and a pleasant conversationalist. We relied on her not only for airport transfers but also for other trips we needed to make around the city. In short, DEUXMECS is a place to return to and recommend without hesitation. DEUXMECS is more than a hotel: it's an experience.
