Lovely managers, and a great place to spend a nice evening 😇

The initial welcome was friendly, but it quickly deteriorated because of the waiter. Once inside, we wanted to explore the place. We were abruptly told off by the waiter, who, without even a greeting and in front of everyone else, insisted we order drinks at the bar before going upstairs… As tourists, we received no instructions at the entrance; we simply wanted to experience the club first to see if the atmosphere suited us. We attracted a bit of attention right from the start. The playlist was complicated; at 12:30 AM, they were playing "Dalida Mourir sur Seine"… And upstairs, the facilities were basic: no toilet paper, no trash cans, no lights, no water fountain. Great place to meet lots of guys, especially on Thursday nights, for fun. A paradise for gay men, considering I've been to nudist parties in Lyon and Perpignan. The only downside is the upstairs isn't air-conditioned, so in the summer it's like your attic.

There's at least one bar like that in Perpignan. However, you have to be careful and ask the price of drinks before ordering, otherwise they'll charge you an exorbitant price, 50% more, for something perfectly normal (€12 for a Havana Club with a Coke). Thank you for confirming in your reply that your waiter did indeed overcharge for the drinks, €12 instead of €10.

First time in Perpignan and finally discovering Backstage. The place is great, not too big, not too small, the clientele is a mix of all ages, and the welcome from Enzo, Guillaume, and Thomas is perfect. Ideal for meeting people. The prices are very reasonable, and the cruising area is superbly maintained.

Finally, a truly LGBT-friendly establishment! Even though Perpignan is sorely lacking in them, Le Backstage and its team fill the void brilliantly and professionally! Atmosphere, friendliness, cleanliness, simplicity—whether you're a local or a tourist, you'll be welcomed and made to feel at ease immediately! I highly recommend it! May this gay oasis in the heart of Perpignan, Le Backstage, have a long and successful future!
