Bed was comfortable, room had everything I needed, and staff were very pleasant. Would stay again.

A fantastic hotel with excellent value for money. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff very friendly and helpful, and the hotel is in a great central location. The castle is about a 15-minute walk away, where I'd like to go for the concert later, and Sophia Garden (the coach stop) is about 20 minutes away. If the construction work at the castle is ever finished and the coach stops there again, you can also get off there if you want to go to the hotel. Perhaps I could have taken the coach to the university instead. I'll try that next time 😉. In short: I'd love to come back and will try to stay at this great hotel again. Cardiff is beautiful, and I'd like to explore it properly, not just for a quick concert ☺️

All the important things are good quality. No frills. It feels like it's been designed to give the most comfort for the least upkeep and this is reflected in the price. I'd design a hotel the same way.

After using this hotel recently and having to endure a drunken party of men on the room next door to mine from 930pm to 4am the next morning- door slamming, running up and down corridors, high volume of music and having had to attempt to deal with it myself to no avail, only for the noise to begin at 0630am this morning! Made a complaint to " assistant hotel manager " for a full refund but was vert dismissive in his response to me, and gives the impression that if you book a room there in Cardiff then you'd have to expect such " antics " and take your chances. So beware of easy hotel Cardiff!!

Exactly what its advertised as. Very clean, no nonsense room, quiet enough for decent sleep, and it had air conditioning. Great nights sleep. Reception staff were very friendly as well!
