Gorgeous! Everything was delicious and the place was beautiful. Could not recommend enough.

We had a great time celebrating my wife's milestone birthday. Anna looked after us and anticipated our needs amazingly, what a professional, thank you. Nothing was ever too much bother, the pacing of the courses were perfect and the food was delicious. Great value for money and I'm sure you'll see us both very soon.

I have to say it was the best food I have ate at restaurant in Cardiff and the Vale. The staff were amazing and took time out to go through the menu with my wife who has allergies, and also explained each of the dishes and answered any questions we may have had. The food was amazing from the starters all the way through to desert, even the wife food was fantastic. We will definitely be back.

Lovely feel to the place as you walk in with friendly greeting. Waitress delightful (Niamh). Food (Sunday lunch, roast beef etc) was excellent and more than big enough. Recommend +++

Sonder is a rare restaurant. Food: they can boast that they have mastered Mountains, Sea and Field(?) i cant remember the category they use. But its the delightful surprise that one place can give you a perfect filet steak and a well seasoned, fresh (one of the few places that really sources its fish intelligently) piece of sea bass. The flavours are balanced and just adventurous enough to give you a real treat without going wide of the mark. Excellent. Service: Service included has meant the death of good table manners and attention from staff in a lot of places. Sonder, the staff are attentive without being overbearing, know the menu really well and will give you solid recommendations. Ambience: Just the right amount of alive to make it feel like a proper meal out without screaming at your table partner to be heard. Highly recommend.

amazing experience in sonder for a birthday meal. the staff are so friendly, the menu is just amazing. we all had the iron flat steak and it was stunning. provided a plate staying happy birthday and ice - cream and provided us with a free bottle of prosecco and 8 shots in their sister bar next door. will be returning & would highly recommend.
