The White Swan

We wanted to find a restaurant/pub with the old English charm and we found that at the White Swan. The food was amazing and our waiter Dom was extremely attentive to our questions and needs. The service was fast and efficient. Really enjoyed our evening, thank you Dom for giving us the dinning experience we were looking for. 🍁

Lovely old pub with genuine character and great atmosphere.. we were served by Anusha who was extremely kind welcoming and efficient an asset to our overall experience. We would like to point out that we previously visited Mr Foggs a pub just a hundred yards away... We paid just under £20 for a 440ml bottle of Stella and a single vodka and coke. I nearly fell over at the price and questioned it, I was met with some hostility that I had the audacity to question the price, I honestly thought that's made a mistake and I was abruptly told the prices were reflective of all the pubs in the area. So tonight we visited the closest pub to test this theory. We were charged exactly £5.70 less at The White Swan compared to Mr Foggs... Ironically we eventually spent a lot more in The white Swan and the drinks didn't taste quite so bitter knowing you were not being ripped off

I had dinner with friends here before a show and the award-winning pie was absolutely delicious. I did feel it could have come with some greens on the side but it was still delicious. Our waiter Harry was also really nice and helpful and helped make our experience feel easy.

Excellent food, very pleasant service and a place with all the charm.

Sam provided us great service during our meal upstairs. We enjoyed the food and visited the bar also multiple times during our London trip.
