Sunderland Pride 2027

Sunderland Pride is the city's LGBTQ+ celebration, held each June. A city-centre march sets off from Park Lane and moves along High Street West to a rally, live performances and community stalls at Keel Square. It is delivered by the regional charity Out North East together with Sunderland's own LGBT+ charity, WearProud, as part of the wider 'Summer of Pride' that also takes in Gateshead and South Tyneside. In a city without dedicated gay venues, Pride is the focal point of the year for Sunderland's LGBTQ+ community, drawing families, allies and visitors from across the North East.
