El Refugio

El Refugio is one of Rosario's longest-running gay nightspots, tucked into Centro at Laprida 847. It opens into the early hours on Friday and Saturday nights and is known for drag shows and themed parties, including Miss Trans events, having anchored the city's queer nightlife for over a decade. The atmosphere is a classic Argentine after-hours boliche: a dance floor that fills up late, a mixed and mostly local crowd, and a stage for the drag performers who drive the calendar.
