Vogue used to be the best LGBT nightclub in Natal-RN, but it has completely lost its shine, with weak acts, music limited to funk and TikTok songs, lacking electronic music and new sounds. In the outdoor area, the acts focus only on old-school, overly romantic forró, no longer featuring more vibrant, lively forró, making the outdoor area feel like a funeral home. Most of the regulars no longer go because of this, not just because they don't go out anymore. Vogue has lost its "identity," the main audience no longer feels part of it, and that's very sad. Everyone knows the world has changed and the dynamics of nightlife have changed too, but Vogue's problem is that it can no longer connect with its audience, and it seems the management doesn't realize this. Many things could be analyzed by the management, including: investing in vibrant acts, music that reflects the LGBT identity (pop, electronic), without needing to disregard or exclude current funk, and seeking DJs with large followings. Another point to consider is the location: the gay world has changed, and I still feel that Vogue's location conveys the idea of ​​gay men and lesbians hiding away, as it's in an area hidden from the city's vibrant nightlife. Other LGBTQ+ venues are in areas that offer a sense of integration with the city's nightlife. In short, I'm saddened to see the decline of a nightclub that was once a haven of affection for the gay community of Natal and the surrounding region. I hope the management has the sensitivity to understand what the public actually wanted to find there. Vogue urgently needs to restore its identity and reinvent itself.
