Giardino Malandrino

The restaurant itself is beautiful, with a lovely terrace, good food, and drinks, but the service leaves much to be desired. There were only two tables, and I waited about 15 minutes for the waitress to turn around so I could ask for the bill. She was glued to her computer with the cashier, and the same thing happened when I wanted to order food. It ruined the whole experience, especially since there were only two tables. The service needs improvement; other than that, everything was fine.

Giardino Malandrino has that kind of meticulous decor that's noticeable as soon as you walk in. The service is personalized and fast, so there aren't those endless waits between courses that sometimes ruin a meal. The drinks and juices are excellent, although the real stars are the pastas, the house specialty. And if it's your first time, don't miss the pizzas; they're made in a full-spectacle oven, so watching the whole process becomes part of the experience. My partner and I go occasionally for special occasions, and so far, it's never disappointed us.

The food was excellent, the pasta was delicious. My son and husband were very happy with their eggplant lasagna. We were greeted by a very friendly host, and the waitresses were all very kind. What I didn't like at all was the atmosphere. My family and I noticed a rather unfair situation, which I now confirm. At the next table on Sunday, there was a group of four friends who wouldn't stop talking about how to attack a young man who worked there. This caught my son's attention. They were talking amongst themselves, and it was impossible to overhear them because they were speaking so loudly that they disturbed the other tables, including ours. We had to leave early because the situation was very uncomfortable, especially since the young man had served us well, and they were extremely busy, so the delays were understandable. Now I've come across comments from four people who were clearly those same four people that day. Almost everything was perfect, except for letting in people who belittle the staff. That's unbearable anywhere. If it weren't for that, we would have stayed longer. For the rest of Sunday, the food was delicious, 100% recommended, the service was excellent, and the space is beautiful! Congratulations to the staff and the owner. I hope this doesn't happen again and that they protect their employees.

The only good thing... the view.

The place is beautiful, with an excellent view. The gnocchi were incredibly rubbery; this pasta should melt in your mouth like a soft cloud. The service was incredibly slow. They have an oven that can bake a stone-baked pizza in 90 seconds, so how can it take an hour to arrive at the table? The Negroni was good. But I insist, I went to the host and the waitresses, and they weren't making one. The poor manager looked stressed. In short, a place I won't be returning to. I hope they improve; they have a menu that should be faster...

I ordered a pizza and it was delicious. The beer selection was a bit limited. The atmosphere is lovely and the customer service was very friendly. I would definitely return!

The food was delicious, and the place was lovely too. The only downside was the host, who was unpleasant every time we went. He was always very uncooperative when we asked for a table. It's a shame; it tarnishes everything good about the place, and it's quite surprising that nothing is being done about it. Several friends have had the same experience.
