Hotel Casa Ballesteros

After a month I left that please, today I discovered that they are still charging my credit card and the debit cards. Someone somehow got my cards information at the desc. I have to report them to the police.

Well since almost 8 years coming and visiting Barranquilla and that's the one was cheaper and clean, has pool also inside, free breakfast and you can have lunch and dinner inside...

Excellent

The hotel is well located. But my review will focus mainly on the pool. We paid for this hotel because we saw it had a nice pool, but it's only open until 7 pm, which is terrible. As a tourist, you go out to explore the city and come back wanting to jump in and relax, but you can't. The service is very limited, and it's overpriced for something you can't even enjoy.

I made a reservation through Expedia. I live in Miami, and I must say that upon arrival, I received unpleasant service from one of the reception staff members. Mr. Jose was very rude and made me wait. My mother wanted to go upstairs to pick up the gifts, and this man objected with a bad attitude, saying that no visitors could go upstairs or I would have to be charged. He also said that I could cancel if I wanted. I spoke with an American who stayed next to me, and he also said he had problems with check-in and was subject to these restrictions. At no higher-category hotel have I ever encountered any of these restrictions. If someone isn't going to stay overnight, they shouldn't deny access. This man talks about a policy and exclusivity that they don't have. It's a hotel that rents out the pool for events to people outside the hotel, and it's also a very crowded and noisy hotel at night and in the early morning. Honestly, if it's not a high-end hotel, they should have more pleasant staff.

We attended a very well-organized trade fair. The hotel is very welcoming.

This hotel is in excellent condition despite being an older building in the city. It's perfectly located for easy taxi access to any of the city's attractions. It features a swimming pool, perfectly maintained rooms with air conditioning and daily cleaning, closets, TVs, safes, and showers. The restaurant offers a variety of breakfast options included in the room rate. There's also a pool, vending machines with water, soft drinks, and snacks, and a souvenir shop where you can buy any forgotten gifts. It's an excellent arrival point.

Very good service, excellent food, great taste

The hotel is very well located and the staff is excellent. One suggestion: the rooms are somewhat run-down. In my case, the mattress was quite hard. They are spacious but I feel they aren't modern. Otherwise, they were very clean and the staff were attentive.

Nothing special. Accessories and equipment a bit broken.
