Quite possibly the most disappointing Sauna I’ve ever been to. Pros They sell food items. They allow you to leave and return. Staff are friendly. Cons The property is like an old abandoned mouldy underground warehouse. It smells, but if you stay long enough you get accustomed to it. Its very small and frustrating. The clientele is older and creepy.

Excellent location, great staff and average facilities, plus good promotions throughtout the week (check their website). However, their 2-hour promotion does not make since at all! For $17, it should be no less than a 3-hour visit! A few other recommendations to management is to provide key hand braceletes with different colors or symbols, to indicate if the visitor is a Top, Bottom, or Vers. Plus, there is a lot of useless space on site with emphasis on slings in open areas. I don't see the need for more than one sling onsite, because everytime I visited the bathhouse the dark room sling area and the other dark rooms areas were not being used. So why not convert these empty areas into few more rooms instead, or possibly a dry sauna? Also, advertising on hook up/dating sites for the the different bathhouse promotions would also be a great idea. Another idea to consider is a specific day/times of the week, or at least a couple days of the month for "daddies and their admirers", for gentlemen who are 50 years of age or older. This would increase business/ attract more patrons to the facility on the slowest days/times of the week. Last but not least, A FREQUENT VISITOR PROGRAM is something Goliath's management should seriously consider, where repeat customers are rewarded for their loyalty to the bathhouse.

Very friendly staff especially Darcy. He'll make you feel very welcomed. Facility is so-so as it is an older institution, but I'd say it is full of history and is a pioneer in the LGBT movement in Calgary. Not the best, but it's the only option in Calgary. They have a jacuzzi, a wet sauna, three different porn viewing areas, a couple of slings, and some other special sections which require the use of some imagination, couple of shower areas, glory holes, lockers and rooms. It's a "saunatel" so a cheaper option to spend the night instead of renting a hotel room in Calgary (which is ridiculously expensive). Staff regularly tidy the play areas so for me that's a plus. Busy on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Weekends. Hope they keep on improving the place.

Always an amazing time here! Between the bathhouse and lounge, it's a guaranteed good time that never misses. Staff are courteous and kind, vibes are always immaculate. If you're looking for somewhere to wind down without feeling judged for not being a "normie", this is the place to be!
