Staggers Pub & Grub

a bit of a disappointing experience last night. my friends and i drove all the way there as they advertised they have pool, however their rule about pool is extremely unfair and clearly biased. the ONLY way you’re allowed to play is by beating the other person who won last… so it’s just 1 guy the whole night hogging the table. completely ruins the fun for everyone. we put our names down on karaoke, but when they’d say that we were 6th in line, in reality we were 8th or 9th. not a big deal, but was a bit upsetting. they didnt even call my partners name whos birthday it was.. service and drinks were fine. one of the bartenders was kind, but overall the vibes were not as welcoming and friendly as i’d hope a queer bar would be. everything else was just fine.. but if you’re going there to have fun and play pool with friends dont even bother…

Our waitress was friendly nice service was quick as we sat down . when we were paying another waitress at the bar was rude our waitress did not mention no credit cards only cash or debit . He told her no one mention it to us at the table she than said I am not your waitress as he walked away she said loudly your welcome how rude. .

Awesome open mic experience on Sunday afternoon and affordable prices. Great people supporting an establishment that supports artists! Woot woot! 🎉

Came back to hali to visit after over 15 years and decided to try this place. The staff and crowd are an absolute blast and i will definitly be back for some beer and food(not shrimp). Thanks so much for the great night

Tried the Stagger Burger with cheese and bacon (with the fries and coleslaw). Good, solid burger. Slightly different that was noted on their website but still a good burger. Fries were excellent along with the coleslaw. Service was very friendly and good.

A gem for Downtown Dartmouth. Friendly staff, good patrons and fantastic entertainment on Thursday wing night.(my usual night). I enjoy the variety of wing sauces, and have found the wings in general are excellent. The burgers are really good, and I have recently discovered the quesadillas, which maybe my new favorite. I have found the washrooms to be clean, as well as the rest of the bar in general. A fun local bar with lots to do weekly.
