Not spectacular, not terrible. No one helps with luggage. The room was fine. The breakfast and location are very good.

Hotel was fine, but no breakfast as booked on Booking... ☹️

It’s good if you are on a budget. Very good. But take heed as there is no lift and many steps to climb to get to your room. This is a three star remember.

The hotel room was disgusting and looked nothing like the pictures posted online. Check the pictures posted by the reviewers here before booking.

Well located. However, there's no one to help. We arrived and didn't know how to get in; a waiter from the restaurant next door helped us. The room was dirty, and there was no service. The breakfast restaurant was closed, and there was no one to help us. Terrible! I'll never go back!

This is the most weird hotel ive ever seen the room is so cold in the winterrrr like we r spending the night outside…the service is disgusting and they wont even show you where is your room and yes 2 different buildings and doors good luck finding your room

Location is perfect. Staff is friendly. Check-in was easy. The walls are quite thin, so noise carries easily. You can often hear people walking and talking in the hallway at all hours, which may be uncomfortable if you’re sensitive to noise.

We encountered a few minor issues upon arrival. The first room was less than clean: the bathroom hadn't been cleaned, there were long hairs on the floor, and even some hairs in the bed. In short, the room didn't seem to have been cleaned. However, despite the late hour (10:00 PM), the service was excellent. The person on the phone was very professional and friendly, and immediately arranged for us to be moved to a different room. The new room was perfect: clean, well-maintained, and exactly what we expected. A slight drawback for those with multiple electronic devices: there aren't many power outlets, and the internet connection is only so-so. The main advantage remains the location, ideal for exploring Old Quebec on foot. The small restaurant included in the reservation is very good, but next time, I'll probably choose to eat lunch there every other day. It's also worth noting that this isn't a hotel with 24-hour staff; it's a more self-service establishment, which may or may not suit your needs.

I called before check in time to see if we could arrive a bit earlier since we arrived to Québec City a bit early, it kept on ringing and ringing and finally a message saying that the voice mail was full so I couldn't leave a message, not a great start. So we decided to just go there but were greeted by confusing locked doors with no one to answer us, not a great start again, so we waited till 4 pm and finally there was someone there. The young man that greeted us was not very friendly or helpful. The room was ok, could have been nicer and cleaner, but the bathroom was The worst, the light fixture above the sink wasn't working so they plugged in a floor lamp beside the sink instead of fixing the issue. The hot water faucet was very hard to shut off and was leaking. All these are fairly easy and inexpensive fixes. I wonder if the owners are aware of this or they just choose to ignore it and not pay for minor repairs. It just gives you the feeling that they don't care for their guests. The front desk clerk gave us a list of addresses of places where we could park our vehicle, so we decided to go to the closest parking lot on the list which was the Maison de Beaucours. When we arrived at the underground parking lot the automated gate kept saying "Monthly only" when we swiped our credit card and the gate wouldn't open. After multiple tries we had to back our car out of there, turn and leave, fortunately there were no cars behind us so we could easily back out, turn and leave through the exit. While we were turned around and ready to get out of the underground parking we saw threes cars come in through the short and tight entrance, so we decided to wait and see if it was going to work for the first car at the gate but we heard the same messages as we got when we tried to get in. But unfortunately for the first car there was two cars behind so the first car couldn't back out like we did, what a major inconvenience for all of them. The only positive about this hotel is the location, that's it. Overall I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.
