Great service and well appointed rooms. Very quiet all night and a wonderful breakfast buffet.

A semi frequent stop whenever travelling West of Winnipeg for my partner and I. Very friendly staff, nice restaurant/bar (Circa 27) with excellent food. The rooms are well appointed and regal feeling, and we have experienced a large breadth of the room offerings;the Royal Room is absolutely on the list of need to dos! The attached dining room for breakfast is excellent.Honestly, the ambiance of this hotel is one of my favorites when we are travelling.

Very nice hotel in a historic building, perfect location for exploring the area, staff were always friendly, had time for us and were helpful - and the breakfast buffet was outstanding!

This review is mainly pertaining to using the hotel sask as a wedding venue. As far as the rooms and hotel aspect I think this place is amazing. I'll try and keep this short This wasn't my wedding but I was a friend of the couple and was helping with changing the tables and decor from the ceremony to the reception which were held in the same area. In a perfect world, our job was to put a few decorations on the already set tables and maybe help move some chairs and speed things up. First major note is the lack of adequate staff to help us taking down, setting up, and moving everything. We were expecting to speed up the process and help the staff but the short simple truth is that if the 3 of us hadn't stepped up and helped like we did, the venue would have had no chance of being ready in time. One of the staff members was also quite rude and almost offended that we were helping. I dont think she quite understood how little time they had to get everything ready. This part may sound rediculus at first...Tables are moved, cloths are on the tables, chairs are at the tables, but the chairs aren't put into their places so that other staff knows where to put cutlery and all that. As a result, WE had to go around to every table and chair and readjust all of their work, fix the chairs and cutlary, some tables had too many chairs, some had not enough chairs . It sounds silly but the way they had the tables set looked terrible and messy. If they had all worked together to finish one step before going onto the next we wouldn't have had to do this. Next thing is we weren't allowed to store anything in the kitchen/storage area (WHICH IS HUGE) we had barely any supplies to store and some boxes of donuts and we were forced to haul it all up to a room and then all the way back down to set up. Minor inconvenience but still a little annoying. Next part ground my gears a little. The Bar was absolute chaos! They had too many categories for drinks (And the drink prices of course were insane). 8.50 for domestic beer, 9.50 for imported beer, imported liquor, domestic liquor, fancy wine, regular wine, and on and on and a can of pop was $5.50!!! So many different colours of drink tickets that slowed the line a lot. Worste case just make all drinks 9.50 or something and make pop cheaper if not free for the kids. This part is still unconfirmed and quite difficult to prove but we have good reason to believe they were watering down the booze. It was nearly the top talk of the wedding. Everyone saying "man I've had like 4 or 5 drinks and im not even buzzed" we also had some people say they went down to the main lobby bar and had 2 drinks and they were feeling those. We also found a bottle at the bar that looked so watered down that instead of dark rum or whiskey its colour was closer to apple juice. And somehow that bottle "disappeared" and we made them look for it and bring it back to take a picture. Overall the wedding venue was very nice visually but the service needs a lot of improvment and this issue of watered down liquor needs to be seriously looked into. If you're going to charge such a crazy amount to host a wedding here the service should reflect that. I hope that these improvements are made because this place really is truly amazing.

The hotel is almost 100 years old but the upkeep is absolutely impeccable! So impressed but what is the amazing part are the people that run it. Muskan checked us in with a smile and put us at ease the minute we arrived but the rooms supervisor Mr Jobanjeet Singh was so amazing and made our stay so special! Bravo! Thank you!

My wife and I were in Regina recently to see a concert downtown and we decided to stay here overnight. The lobby area is beautiful with brass accents and crown mouldings. Check-in was quick and friendly. There is a great lounge area just off the lobby and there is also a cafe. During our stay the hotel was hosting two wedding parties. This is fine however this did cause the elevators to be very busy and all common areas to be full. Our room located on the fifth floor was nice and had a great king bed and soft pillows. The bathroom was small but this was expected as I know the age of this hotel. The shower pressure would go low then back to normal pressure. Not a big deal though it was fine. There was a room party on my floor which went on until probably five in the morning. I just assumed it was a wedding party and I never complained about it. I was young once also and I don’t want to be that guy. We loved the hotels location downtown and a cab ride to either Mosaic stadium or Brandt Centre is only ten dollars. We decided that we would stay here again but we will probably avoid weekends because of how busy the hotel becomes.

A great place

My partner and I booked a one night stay in the "Admoral suite" which included Jet tub. We arrived at 2:50pm, for our 3pm check-in time. Our check-in was delayed by 50minutes, which was a little frustrating. But they without hesitation made it up to us by covering our parking for the day ($20) and even had a surprise of macarons and chocolate covered strawberries delivered to our room while we had dinner at "The Burrow. '' To add, about the dinner at "The Burrow" and it was absolutely amazing. My partner and I can confidently say, their Green Coconut Thai Curry, was the best we have ever tried. Circa27 was unfortunately under renovations at the time of our stay, but was still able to view and try anything off their menu at one of the Hotel Restaurant's/ lounge spots. The Bartenders absolutely know what they are doing and have honed their craft extremely well. This Hotel is in a prime location if youre wanting to stay their for a riders game, for a romantic stay-cation or anything at all, It is right on downtown strip, about a 3minute walk from Cornwall mall. I highly recommend staying at the Hotel Saskatchewan. Their customer service is outstanding, from front desk, bartenders, to their lobby-men. Thank you for the wonderful stay.
