Hair of the Dog

Hair of the Dog is a neighbourhood pub and restaurant at 425 Church Street, at the southern end of the Village, open since 2000. The Gay Passport and OutxOut list it as gay-friendly rather than as a gay bar, and it draws a mixed Village crowd for brunch, dinner and drinks. Google shows it open from late morning until about midnight, with 4.5 from more than 2,700 reviews. It's most useful as a daytime or early-evening stop, before the bars further up Church Street get busy.
