Black+Blue Toronto

We recently visited Black + Blue with a group of 15, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. Organising a large group can sometimes be challenging, but the staff handled everything professionally and ensured everyone felt welcome and well looked after. The quality of the food was excellent, tender, flavoursome, and beautifully presented. The sides and sauces were equally impressive and complemented the meals perfectly. Despite our group's size, the service was attentive, friendly, and efficient throughout the evening. The team did a fantastic job keeping drinks topped up, checking in regularly, and making sure our table had everything needed without feeling rushed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a great venue for both social and business gatherings. Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed the food and overall experience, and there were plenty of compliments around the table. A big thank you to the entire team for making our evening such a success. We would happily recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for amazing food and exceptional service.

Wow - what a meal. We had such a great experience at Black & Blue and Kal was a huge part of it! He genuinely made our night and was the perfect balance of funny, personable, and attentive without ever being over the top. He made our Caesar salad tableside and explained everything as he went, which was such a fun touch. His drink recommendations were also fantastic! We will be back!!

We were treated like royalty from the moment we walked in until the moment we left. Our server, Brigette, was incredibly knowledgeable and guided us through the menu beautifully — from the sushi selections to a stunning Beef Wellington for sharing. A real highlight was Jessie taking us on a personal tour of the meat chiller, showing off the gorgeous Japanese wagyu alongside a selection of high-end Canadian cuts. It's clear this team is passionate about quality and loves sharing that with guests. To top off the night, Afzal, the restaurant manager, sent over a personal dessert tray that was the perfect finish to an incredible meal. Black + Blue is more than just a steakhouse — it's an experience. The service, the knowledge, the attention to detail — everything was top notch. Can't wait to come back on our next trip to Toronto.

Brought my son here for his 31st birthday and we had the best experience! First time trying wagu and it did not disappoint. Patricia (Trish) was our main server and went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing dinner. Would definitely recommend!

We tried the crab cakes and the smashed burgers. And for drinks, we ordered mimosas Liz’s service was exceptional!

The food and service here were absolutely incredible! Liz went above and beyond for us and we will definitely be coming back. The crab cakes, smash burger and truffle fries are highly recommended!

**A Soul-Filling Experience at Blue+Black ❤️** My first time in Toronto, and my first-ever experience dining alone. I’m trying new healing tools for my soul, and somehow this experience became so much more than a meal. A special shoutout to Neil, the concierge at the St. Regis Toronto, for recommending Blue+Black. From the moment I walked in, MJ and the entire hosting team welcomed me with such genuine warmth that I immediately knew I was in good hands. I thought I was dining alone, but I quickly realized I wasn’t. Carla took such incredible care of me, and the food was absolutely spectacular. I felt seen, heard, welcomed, and genuinely appreciated for simply being there. My soul was fed. So much so that I came back the very next day—and sat at the beautiful bar. Another first for me! The bartender was wonderful, the food was delicious, and once again I was greeted by MJ and the hosting team, along with my favorite, Carla. ❤️ I asked to speak with her manager, and in walked Mikey B. His spirit was warm, welcoming, and genuine. He embraced me and my journey with love, wisdom, encouragement, and words that I’ll carry with me, “you are deserving and keep doing what makes you smile😭🩷” Blue+Black isn’t just a restaurant. It’s a **soul filler**. I basked in incredible food, exceptional service, and most importantly, beautiful, genuine hearts. I’m eternally grateful that my very first solo dining experience happened not only in Toronto, but at Blue+Black. Thank you for reminding me that sometimes, when we think we’re alone, we’re actually being held in ways we never expected. ❤️✨

This was our first time to Black + Blue. 5 stars isn’t high enough. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing. Our server Kandy was accommodating, easy to talk to, she got everything right, explained options and made our time there the best it could be. The food didn’t have a single flaw or weak aspect. We tried Wagyu for the first time, unreal. We had ceasar salad made table side that was delicious. Everything was just past top tier/notch/bar…will be going back there as often as possible.
