Hi, I just wanted to share an experience I had at this hotel, and it really made me wonder how a hotel can allow itself to host a bunch of scammers who organize trips and events to collect semi-sensitive data from people who are contacted by phone under the pretext of winning a prize for good bank card management. The person who contacts you is very friendly and calls you up to two times to get you to come and collect the following prizes: appliances sponsored by Walmart or an electronic wallet worth $3,000 to use at participating stores. The strange thing is that when you go and explain that you're not there to buy anything, but to collect a prize, they tell you it will be brief and that after an explanation they will give you the prize. To begin with, they tell you they belong to the government's Visit Mexico campaign from the Ministry of Tourism (Sectur), and you wonder, why didn't they invite you to their offices? And that's where the whole mess begins, designed to trick you into falling for it through an advisor and a manager, who try to sell you supposed trips with interest-free installments, and then... Finally, you tell them no, like a thousand times before, and they mysteriously let you go from the 14th floor to the top of the hotel, with a sort of bodyguard, like a bouncer, at the entrance to the lounge. A woman greets you and is always at the door, very mysterious, and you go downstairs to leave. In my case, they escorted me to the exit, but not to other people. I saw it before entering. In the end, they gave me the supposed electronic wallet, which doesn't work and is just another scam. And what a coincidence that after this disgusting experience, now they want to extort me with calls, and one in particular perfectly matched what we talked about during the appointment. The reason for my post is so that you can be careful and not fall for scams. You can see my posts and my reputation as a local guide, and I'm not lying. I'm sharing some photos of the supposed electronic wallet, and I sincerely hope that these fake gangs and scammers are brought down to the full extent of the law. It's enough that in Mexico they try to scam us by any means and make easy money, and I hope City Express... Investigate who receives you in dub facilities to carry out illicit and deceptive transactions.

I stayed there in March and it was very pleasant, very quiet, amazing location, I will return.

They took approximately $1500 from my wallet when I went down to breakfast, and they refused to check the security cameras. The room was 506. Be careful, the staff may be involved.

The first room they gave me was dirty, but they were very kind and gave me another room.

I had made a reservation on April 16th for a stay on April 22nd. However, that same day, at 10:20 a.m., I received an email informing me that, due to a problem with the reservation system, my room was no longer available. When I contacted them to inquire about alternatives, I received conflicting information: first, they told me the room had been sold, and then that there was a plumbing issue, rendering it unusable. As a solution, they suggested I move to another hotel. Upon arriving at the indicated location, the receptionist—who was very kind—informed me that there were no more rooms available, so I had to move again, with all my luggage, to another hotel. I believe there was very poor management of the reservation process and inadequate customer service in this situation.
