Wheels: Truing | 4 – 6

Is your wheel really round, does it wobble to and fro? Do you hop up and down, when you’re on the go? Learn to remove those hops and wobbles using a number of wheel-truing tools. Attendees will have 30-40 minutes of hand on practice. Content: Basic concepts of wheel truing will be covered.  Parts of a wheel; tire, tube*, rim, rim tape, spoke, spoke nipples, hub, and axle.How to use truing tools properly: stand, spoke tension gauge, spoke wrenches.Dishing- centering the rim on the axle), Radial Truing-making the rim round, andLateral truing-removing side-to-side wobble.  Tickets will be available for purchase starting three weeks prior to the event date.
