Sand Castle Inn

A very good experience, friendly staff and a very suitable room.

I was worried when I saw the exterior and the area, but the place turned out to be ideal. Smallish rooms, some updates needed, but clean and a comfy bed. Ice, water refills, and laundry also available.

We stayed one night, excellent value for money. Good bedding and mattress, we even had a bathtub, microwave, and refrigerator. We slept very well.

Management is great. Compassionate and eager to see that guests are taken care of. Very appreciative of the people who run this place. Thank you Sand Castle Inn staff.

This was a great budget friendly option. The staff was very kind. I believe the gentleman I interacted/checked in with was also the owner, he was always onsite and ready to help with anything but not overbearing to the point where you felt watched. I feel like this helps keep the riff raft trouble makers away. The room was cleaned every day when we left. The sheets, blankets, and bed were comfortable and smooth. The hand soap, body/hand soap, and conditioner were all liquid pump bottles with good smelling soap inside. The cleanliness of these rooms are notable, no funny smells lingering when you walk in, the furnishing is updated, and everything except the bedding(which seems to get cleaned regularly) are easy to clean/wipe surfaces. Everything worked. Parking was easy, we even got a spot each day we were able to see our car from.

Owner would not let us take our service dog in with us and was trying to charge us for my wife’s service pet. Made the call prior they let us know we were ok and when we arrived later in the evening they denied our stay.

The rooms are modern and clean. Check in and out was quick and easy. Location is great. We grabbed some Panera bread for breakfast and ate at the beach - all walking distance. Perfect.

It was cheap, everything worked like it should and the staff was friendly. For another budget stay on the area I’d definitely go here again. It seems very close to many restaurants.

They are absolutely wonderful to guests! Accommodating, friendly, in the rooms are clean, with coffee makers, refrigerator, microwave, nice flat screen TV with some common channels. The property is very clean. There was some construction going on as they were putting in electric vehicle charging stations but no problems at all!

This is a great old school motel that has been recently updated and kept in great working order. And, unlike a lot of hotels now, they still make the bed and replace the linens every day. The owners gave me a pro tip: get a room on the second floor so you don't hear people walking around upstairs. And they were very quick to fix an issue in my bathroom.

Stayed for 1night. Liked it. Clean and quiet.Nothing negative. Will book it again when need it.
