Fire Island Boatel Kismet

My wife and I had a great stay at the Fire Island Boatel and we both said we would love to come back. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. We were able to cook breakfast on the hot plates and enjoy it on the balcony. The balcony was the best part of the room, spacious with enough room for our friends to join us, and a sunset view that you can’t beat. We spent most of our time enjoying out on the balcony. The property also has barbecues, lawn games, outdoor showers, an ice machine, and laundry. Everything we needed for the beach was provided including beach towels, beach chairs, and umbrellas which was helpful so we didn’t have to bring it over on the ferry. Dan was a great host, friendly and responsive. We are looking forward to coming back someday soon!

Absolutely wonderful stay at the Boatel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had beautiful balconies. Dan was very responsive over text to any questions we had. We grilled one night on the BBQs and ate dinner on our balcony. The view is amazing you truly can’t ask for better. Beach chairs, umbrellas and towels were provided. Everything about our stay here was great and we would 100% stay again!

There is a hotel here, but we don't come here for that. We come on our boat and Moore. We spend time at the beach and sometime we eat at the restaurants that are here. We love it, it's like a paradise vacation near home

Great location on the edge of the beach. Extremely near to the ferry. Immaculate and very comfortable accommodation and facilities. Very friendly people. Slightly expensive for this type of accommodation. However, I think that is what is it be expected on Fire Island. Highly recommended if you are happy to pay…..

We had a fantastic family stay at the Boatel. The sunsets were incredible, and Dan was an awesome manager who made us feel right at home. Our family loved every minute of it and can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful motel on the Great South Bay. The rooms are decorated beautifully. Great place for a family to spend at the beach .

Such a great place! Brand new (seemingly!) and smack bang on the beach. Justine was delightful and we had a great weekend even in the rain. Would make this one of our permanent rotations if we were NYC based for longer.

My fiancee and I spent an early May weekend at the Boatel in Kismet and had the absolute best time. This was our first trip to Fire Island and from beginning to end our experience with Boatel was exceptional. Dan and the rest of the Boatel staff were so accommodating and helpful during our stay including flowers for Mother's Day and mailing back my AirPods after I forgot them while packing up the room! The rooms were perfect and back up right to a private beach on the bay just steps from the ferry, Dive Kismet and Kismet Inn. We were already planning our trip back before we even left. Be advised if you rent a bike through Boatel (which I recommend!) the boardwalk ends at Lonelyville and you'll be stuck trudging the bike 2 miles through sand to Ocean Beach. You'll be exhausted but have a great story.

We can’t say enough wonderful things about The Boatel in Kismet! We had family and friends stay there for our daughter’s wedding weekend on Kimet and everything was absolutely perfect. The rooms were beautiful, spotless, and spacious, with so many amenities. Its location overlooks the Great South Bay and the setting couldn’t have been more beautiful with that Fire Island vibe. Dan and Justine went above and beyond to make everyone feel at home. They were so accommodating, friendly, and genuinely cared that our weekend went smoothly. All our guests said how amazing their stay was. We truly felt like we had our own little waterfront town for our celebration! Thank you, Dan and Justine, for helping make our daughter’s wedding weekend unforgettable. We can’t wait to come back.

We stayed at the FI Boatel in late September—such a beautiful time of year and a fabulous way to welcome autumn. The waterfront suites sit right on the bay, each with a cozy porch overlooking the Great South Bay. We caught the sunset from the porch, then took a quick walk to the ocean for sunrise the next morning. The rooms were immaculate, with a breezy coastal vibe and thoughtful touches, including a full kitchen with fridge and stove. We brought cheeses and noshes from home, but the markets and restaurants stay open through November 1, and the Boatel’s cozy yard has grills ready to use if you’re inspired. Two restaurants right across from the property were still open during our stay, and the hosts couldn’t have been more welcoming. A true hidden gem—so worth checking out for a relaxing Fire Island escape.
