This is Hilton's more basic chain. But the beds are comfortable and it is clean. Excellent choice for the price.

I’ve stayed at this hotel for the past three days and wanted to share my experience regarding my stay and checkout/extension process. I travel to this area weekly for work, so I value staying at places where customer service and communication are handled professionally. From the very first night, my experience felt off. During check-in, I was told that I had booked a mobility room, which I did not book. While mistakes can happen, it immediately created confusion and made me feel like there were issues with my reservation from the start. Another issue occurred when I requested clean bedsheets because the sheets already on the bed had visible stains on them. Instead of replacing them immediately, the housekeeper initially tried wiping the stains off and seemed unwilling to change the sheets until I insisted. After that interaction, comments were made in Spanish that came across as rude and disrespectful. People should not assume guests cannot understand what is being said around them, and regardless of language, guests should always be treated professionally and respectfully. Most recently, I had already paid for another room for an additional stay, and when I approached the front desk to explain that I was moving into a different room, the manager immediately stated that all rooms were sold out before even looking up my reservation. The interaction felt dismissive from the beginning. After that, I was asked to provide another security deposit without much explanation, despite already having an active stay and a newly paid reservation. What was most frustrating was that my room key was deactivated before I was fully able to move my belongings out of the room. I understand hotels have policies and procedures, especially during busy or sold-out periods, but the way the situation was handled throughout my stay came across as unnecessarily cold, dismissive, and passive-aggressive rather than professional and customer-focused. Altogether, the repeated issues made me feel like I was not being treated with the level of respect or customer service that should be expected. Because I travel here regularly for work, experiences like this matter when deciding where to stay long term. Unfortunately, I don’t think I will be returning to this hotel because I did not feel like I was receiving the best help or customer service possible.

We placed our family visiting from Arizona at Spark by Hilton Grand Rapids and they had a wonderful experience. The hotel is in a great location in a quiet, secluded area with plenty of space for walking pets. They really enjoyed the heated indoor pool, complimentary breakfast, and how clean everything was. The staff and management were very friendly and accommodating throughout their stay. They said they will definitely be staying here again when visiting Grand Rapids. Highly recommend!

Pretty bad. Avoid. From service to rooms, all around pretty bad. The lady at the front desk with tattoos is pretty rude too. Find something else.

The manager went above and beyond to make sure we had a good stay. We had an early plane to catch and he even set us aside some muffins for us to grab at 4am. Highly recommend!

There is a reason this hotel price is so cheap (words from the GM when checking in - for the record). I stayed here 2 nights. First issue - The fridge in my room had someone's left over food in it. Fridge wasn't cleaned. 2nd issue - I booked for 2 nights, tried to cancel the 2nd night at 6am. Employee on hand couldn't do anything useful to help. He gave me a business card to contact the GM that just re-rang the front counter I was standing infant of and he answered standing there (ridiculous). 2 girls come in, cancel the room. doesn't mention a word about a cancellation fee that was half the price of the room. Talked to Customer service, escalation team, and the GM of this location. All do not care about customer service/experience. I DO NOT Recommend this hotel to anyone. pay a little extra for a location that cares. Better yet, stay at a Marriott. When I also told the "escalations Dept." that This was an unfair solution and I will be posting a bad review to let people know. His response was "This is your choice". They truly do not care.

Really amazing customer service! The staff was friendly and accommodating… the room was clean… price per night was more than reasonable. What else can you ask for in a hotel?!

Incredible hotel with an amazing staff. The general manager, Steven, is very friendly and personable. The hotel is clean and recently updated. I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast options. A lot to choose from and the bagel was delicious! Location is convenient and the price is unmatched. Ill be coming into town a lot the next few months and I will continue to stay here!

This is my first time staying here. An I’m pretty happy so far with my stay. It’s been quiet. My AC stopped working and they came up to try and fix it but as soon as they realized it had to be replaced they switched me to a different room. The guy working the front desk is very nice and very helpful. I will be coming back when I’m in town. The breakfast doesn’t have a lot to choose from but it was still a nice set up. Always fresh coffee.

I found a toenail on my floor and hair in the shower. Yuk! Other than that the rooms appeared clean. The beds are size full, not queen. The pool is not a little bit cold - it is freezing!!!! The bagel breakfast was pretty good. The staff was friendly. This is not a luxury hotel - it’s a cheap Hilton. Not somewhere I’d stay again.
