Michigan City Pride

Michigan City Pride organises LaPorte County's annual Pride celebration, the Michigan City Pride Fest, held each June at the Guy Foreman Amphitheatre in Washington Park along the Lake Michigan shore. The free daytime festival brings together live entertainment, community vendors and LGBTQ+ organisations from across Northwest Indiana. Because La Porte itself hosts no Pride event, this county festival about 12 miles north of the city is the main local Pride gathering for La Porte's LGBTQ+ community.
