Badlands on East Sahara Avenue offers a laid‑back, 24‑hour spot where locals trade video‑poker chips for cocktails at fair prices. The bar sits in the older strip mall that once housed several of Las Vegas’s early gay venues. Its walls still echo that era, but the atmosphere feels like a neighborhood saloon more than a Strip club. Inside, a single bar counter and a handful of video‑poker machines set the stage for a mostly regular crowd. The crowd is familiar, the conversations low‑key, and the only thing that stands out is the bartender’s grin. The place is open around the clock, and a ten‑minute ride from the north end of the Strip makes it a sensible choice if you want to avoid casino‑priced drinks. The Commercial Center can be dim at night, so pull over close or hop in a taxi.

All is good there just the guy staff that makes you drinks is awful since they force you to tip when you are PAYING FOR YOUR DRINK, I understand when gambling and HAVE to tip for sure! since I don’t really gamble I just buy my drinks, a new guy there make my michelada and he didn’t pour all the beer (half beer) because he filled the glass to the brim with ice which you don’t do that when you are making a michelada they are required to give you whatever is left of your bottled or canned drink because you paid for it, then I when to buy my second one and the guy told me you didn’t tip if you don’t tip me I’m not going to make you a micheladas and I said ok I will, I felt force and denied after his awful service and then he did the same and yes I tip him Since he threatened that he wouldn't make another michelada. And most curious think he is keeping the open beer bottles in the bar I’m asuming he is going to drink it or reuse hahaha funny guy need to be trained. That was Sunday may 31st about 10:30 pm
