Beautiful views from the restaurant. Friendly maitre d and waiters. We got a table at a window with beautiful views of the ocean. Try the coconut martini it was excellent. I had the giant scallop also excellent.

We just dined at the restaurant and it was OUTSTANDING! Not only was the food and drink highlights, the Head Waiter, Devon, made our dinner meal the BEST! He has such a wonderful personality and engages each guest as if they are the most important ones there! His signature cocktail of watermelon vodka martini and coconut martini were a delicious way to start off the meal. Don’t miss the mussels, dumplings or burrata salad. Had the lobster ravioli and it was to die for! A wonderful setting with Devon as a waiter and the delicious food combined for a really memorable evening! Thank you Devon!

We were staying at an Airbnb nearby and happened upon this place for a fantastic early dinner. We were sat at a lovely table out front with a beautiful ocean view despite not having a reservation. Drinks were spot on. Our server Spencer was quick and attentive. We ordered a lobster cake appetizer special, linguini and clams, and a fried scallop “basket” special. Everything was perfectly prepared and fresh. It was clear that the staff at this restaurant go above and beyond. There was just a good energy amongst them and it definitely could be felt.

Excellent location offering an exciting selection of menu options. The staff are super accommodating especially the owners. I loved the shrimp and the dark and stormy. Will definitely recommend Surfside and be visiting again shortly. Big thanks

This is a review for the restaurant! We had a fantastic meal here. Our server was friendly and attentive. Ambiance was quiet and relaxing. We had a great table with a beautiful view of the ocean (and we even saw whales jumping out of the water)! The food was fresh and delicious. We had the Caesar salad & tomato mozzarella salad to start and the shrimp pasta & ribeye steak special for our mains. While it wasn’t a cheap meal, we were prepared and happy to pay for the high quality meal we had. We’ll definitely be back!

My husband and I celebrated our 32nd wedding anniversary at Surfside on 7/11. Take my word for it…The food was probably the best we’ve had in Mtk. The staff was wonderful and friendly and they gave us champagne to celebrate while looking at the spectacular view of the ocean. I highly recommend to those who are looking for a place to celebrate an anniversary, a girls night, date night, bday celebration or just for drinks & apps. Great place!!

Food at the restaurant is top notch. The views of the ocean couldn’t be better. But the staff makes it a really special place to have a meal or spend a few nights. The owners were gracious and accomodating too. Highly recommend.

As a former career server,bartender...BRAVO to management for how you handled and responded to the issue with the misbehaved and unsupervised children.Its funny she acknowledged your sign by the door, but none the less her kids ran a muck. Sadly some people are so clueless, self absorbed, inconsiderate,or just plain lazy to understand the danger( for servers, the kids themselves ,other patrons, etx), disruption ,and the staff becoming thier personal babysitters etc,.You want it "expedited more quickly"? GO TO MC DONALDS ,not a higher end place that people are there for a DINING EXPERIENCE.And, most of us dining around them have already raised thier kids..We're not there to be annoyed, disrupted, nor do we think your kids are sweet cherubs from above. Poor parenting skills.and no consideration for others. I say this as my own 4 KNEW BETTER and I got compliments all the time how well behaved they were.. Now, I want to thank you ALL for the lovely anniversary dinner that you kindly seated us for as you had no available tables and we didnt have a reservation. We were gonna sit at the bar, but management was made known by a kind server that it was our anniversary, and they expeditiously set us a table before our drinks were even ready ! We hadnt been out there in about a decade, and we ate there on that trip. .Servers were lovely ,charming, attentive, and funny too!,.Drinks amazing. And the food (apps, entrees, and dessert) well, that's why we chose THIS place for our special day!. Thank you so much for helping to make our anniversary weekend the HIGH NOTE of the trip 💖

Although google describes as a motel, This is a great restaurant, with water views

While the food and service were exceptable, management was not. Management told my family we are not welcome back after our kids were on the deck looking at the ocean view. There is a sign when entering that says children must remain seated at all times. If that is the case then the service should be expedited. Obviously getting children to remain seated is a challenge. However, our children were not bothering anyone, just the manager. After further research on reviews, we were not the only family that experienced this disgraceful managers behavior over children. Such a shame, we will not be returning nor recommending this restaurant to anyone. Responding to the managers response- It is unfortunate that the 71 year old woman is obliviously delirious that her perception is so skewed as to what actually happened. Also, unfortunate that her staff had to even apologize for her behavior. We do hope the manager has better days and no one else experiences the disrespect we did. I suppose the past similar negative reviews of families with children were also lying with their experiences?…doesn’t quite seem to be the case.
