Oaklash

Oaklash is Oakland's non-profit festival of queer and trans performance, best known for its one-day drag festival each May. The 10th edition ran on Saturday 16 May 2026, and the organisers have already set Saturday 15 May 2027. Outside the festival it runs an artists-in-residence programme, grants for disabled performers and O-SNAP, a nightlife-skills course for queer and trans event producers. It has no public venue to visit; the 9th Street address is its office. For tickets and the line-up, see oaklash.com.
