Classen Inn

It's a cute place and decorated fun and close to downtown and things to do. But seems like everything that was remodeled was done in the cheapest way possible. Sheets were stained, was very musty inside the room, half the outlets didn't work, they had a microwave, fridge and i think a lamp plugged into a 3 way plug on a non gfci plug which is kind of sketch in a fire hazard sense, water pressure was like standing in the rain(different showerhead would help). There was also a ton of road noise could probably be mitigated somewhat with and acoustical structure. It wasn't expensive so I guess you get what you pay for. Service was great though very welcoming and helpful.

Exactly what we hoped for. Exterior doors, quiet area, superb owner. Keypad entry to rooms. No cards. We booked 3 days. Easy access to everything we planned to do in town. The beds are magnificent. Memory foam. I haven't slept like that since I was a child. I've never owned a mattress of the quality provided on our stay. #goals ❤️ the room.

I liked this place! Self service check-in at a lightly renovated 60s motor-lodge type place.Got those googie vibes! And someone either forgot to sign out of their Apple+ account, or it's the owners account, but I got to watch 5 episodes of Pluribus! Don't think I saw another person on the property while I was there. The area is kind of industrial and you will see the occasional homeless person walk by, but they didnt bother me. I felt perfectly safe sitting in the seating area having a smoke. (Don't tell. You're not supposed to smoke on the property, but literally no one else was there and I police my butts.) If you like out-of-the-ordinary places with a vibe or Route 66 places this is for you.

The whole point of staying there was the convenient location. I was in room 16. It was the coldest night of the year so far. The heater did not work. Every call went to voicemail. When it tells you where to email you cant understand the recording. No response. I slept in my clothes and jacket because the room was freezing. Don't tell people, "Oh I wish we had known" There's no one to tell.

Room was really cute, didn’t smell the best though and the house keeping wasn’t great, like a few other reviews have said there was a box of leftover food in the fridge in our room as well. It’s not bad for the price and the vibe is super cute inside and out (note that the outside is not kept up well). As someone who was born and raised in OKC, the location isn’t the best so be cautious if you’re traveling alone maybe :). They also don’t use trash bags in your rooms at an attempt to be eco friendly but it just made me worry it was a bit unsanitary especially for the bathroom. short drive to some fun places though, plaza district, 23rd st, paseo, etc! on a positive note, we were able to check in almost 3 hours early and the front desk girl was really helpful! they also offer a no contact check in!

The "Inn" is an old converted 60's motel on a busy street. As opposed to some converted '60s motels around the country that are cool and hip, this one is not. It's located about a 20-minute walk from the closest trolley stop. There's an awesome diner located a few minutes walk. But its certainly not located in the center of things. My room was decently large and had an interesting paint job. The carpet was a disgusting mess (see the photo). The bed was decent but the bedspread looked like it was still from the 60s. Pretty disgusting. Hot water only gets to warm and water pressure is poor. My room had a partial leftover meal still in the refrigerator. The AC unit in my room was exceedingly noisy, like something's definitely wrong kind of noisy. It was also disgustingly dirty (see the photo). I asked for someone to look at it and they were quick to do so. Unfortunately they we're also quick to say that that's just how it goes. Luckily it was cool enough that the AC wasn't necessary. This motel will fit the bill if you need a cheap stay in Oklahoma City and don't mind some filth. It won't be particularly pleasant. But it gets you an overnight accommodation.

I would not recommend the Clasen Inn in OKC. The room was dirty, with visible dust and stains that clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while. There was no real service — no one at the front desk when I needed assistance, and no housekeeping during my stay. On top of that, parking was extremely limited and inconvenient. Overall, it felt neglected and poorly managed. I expected much better for the price.

This motel is super cute and conveniently located. The rooms are basic, but clean and nicely decorated. There are a few cosmetic signs of age, but nothing that had me worried! It’s a little noisy since it’s on a semi-busy street, but the soundproofing is pretty good. And Sunnyside Diner about a block down is AMAZING.

This place has very cool retro vibes and decor, dropped a star because while this place could be really really cool, the outdoor seating area was kinda unkept, lots of debris and garbage scattered around, and there is substantial vagrant traffic. If they put in a touch more effort into keeping the "retro patio lounge area" clean, maybe added some music to enhance the experience this could easily be a 10/10. But if they just rely on the decor redo to carry them I think the luster could fade fast. Wishing them the best because its definately cool with even more potential.

When I first visited here not long after it opened, it was perfect! An absolute dream of a nostalgic motel. Unfortunately, on my last visit, there was trash left in one of the refrigerators, among other minor cleanliness issues
