The room itself is decent at best. Bed is comfy. No computer/printer downstairs which would be nice. The Wifi is horrible. The GoWifi here is hardly usable to do the most basic tasks and it's unfortunate especially when you are here for work and need reliable internet in the evenings. Fishing for a CNA in DTS is ridiculous when most good hotels out in town would charge the GOVT rate. The JTR needs to allow SVC members to stay out in town if they wish, it's not costing the Navy any more money other than per diem, but lets be honest- no one wants to eat the A school galley every day for all 3 meals(the galley is also not good here). I've stayed at various NGIS in different states and the internet has never been this bad(For context, my connection was better in Rota Spains NGIS than this one). My advice to you, book last minute and try to get a CNA.

This was an extremely disappointing and unacceptable stay. The building is old and poorly maintained, with very low water pressure and overall unsanitary conditions. I was locked out of my room every single day during my stay. On the day of arrival, we received a note slid under the door informing us that the building would experience a “routine maintenance” power outage from 0700–1200, with no compensation or relocation offered. However, the outage lasted the entire day and part of the next day almost 20 hours. We were left in freezing conditions with no heat, no electricity, and no Wi-Fi. When we requested to move to another building, we were told we would have to pay additional fees. Cell phone service was virtually nonexistent, making Wi-Fi the only way to communicate. The room itself was extremely noisy: the AC unit sounded like an aircraft taking off, the refrigerator knocked loudly throughout the night, and the ceiling fan sounded like an old engine struggling to start. The poor air quality triggered my allergies and asthma, resulting in chest pain and difficulty breathing and ultimately required an emergency room visit. The beds were extremely small (appearing to be full-size rather than queen or king) and very uncomfortable, causing significant neck and back pain. Housekeeping services were essentially nonexistent. Despite multiple requests, our room was not cleaned during the entire eight-day stay. Trash removal, towel replacement, and sheet changes only never occurred even after repeated requests. We were even instructed to bring our own trash out, and to come to the reception to pick up sheets to change our own bed sheets and told conflicting information between housekeeping and the front desk regarding linen changes. At no point did we display a “Do Not Disturb” sign, yet housekeeping never entered our room once during our stay. This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had and completely unacceptable for a Navy Gateway facility. 0/10 — I do not recommend and will never stay here again.

they dont clean your room everyday and when they do they dont vacuum. the stair and elevator situation is very inconvenient parking is absolutely terrible imagine checking in then there is not place to park that isn't a quarter of a mile away for you to have to lug all your bags. that's the most common scenario. sometimes you get lucky and there's a spot up front or enough space to park and get your bags out then go find parking. most of the time you're far away hauling your stuff.

Good place ,close to my work/school.

Stayed here for two weeks. I only care about cleanliness, insects, and noise any time I stay at a hotel. 5/5 stars for all three, I’ve been to hotels with better rating that had bugs. When we stayed here for two weeks I didn’t see even one in the room. Housekeeping was consistent and everyone was very nice. I saw them cleaning just about every other day. Would recommend for longer stays.

Hard to find. Also the lobby is a whole separate building to locate. Lizards in room. The ac sounds like a squeaky belt and an airplane taking off. The fridge knocks all night long. Had chest pain from the air quality. And back pain from the bed. Worst experience with the Navy Gateway ever. In the video is just how loud the AC is. Try sleeping through that…

I was charged and didn’t stay. I totally forgot that I booked until I seen I was charged.unlike I wasn’t charged in Naples gateway. Why did they charge me here? I didn’t show up in Naples due to a flight change and wasn’t charged

I'm very disappointed. They tell u they have rooms, but then they don't. Very unorganized. One of the ladies that worked the morning of 20th of july stated she didn't know how to input or even knew they take the star card, but none of the workers now how to or what to do when they see the star card. I was very disappointed and disgusted.
