The Tarpon Inn

Do Not Recommend This Hotel! Worst experience for my family. They could not stay in room and they didn’t refund their money! Due to having key issues!!!

Very disappointed with this hotel!

We booked a room. Checked in and they gave us a different persons room so we had left the hotel had to come back and let them know it wasn’t our name nor our room. So they gave us our room we leave come back at 12am and the key doesn’t work on the door knob I recorded where we tried it soo many times so we can show them in the morning because no one was there at night. Luckily we had family who rented a house so we stayed with them.we go back the next morning and they try to the key and the girl struggles to open the door and she got it open. They didn’t refund us our money because of their “policy”. Very disappointing and I was soo frustrated!! I Do not recommend.

The Tarpon Inn is a niche hotel. A bedroom, bed, sink, toilet and shower. No tv. No dining table. Quaint, quiet, a trip back in time. Rooms are very clean. Service is top notch. The location is perfect. The Tarpon Inn is about a very simplistic stay for those seeking a trip back in time for a rustic experience with air conditioning.

Cool place!

We came for the live music but wow, the food. We sat outside under a giant shade tree and listened to live music on the patio. Bar service was super nice and went out of their way to get us what we needed. The homemade bread is on point but they had one of the best simple wedge salads I've had in a while. Probs cause I'm usually eating tacos. Then the coconut shrimp with raspberry sauce, man howdy. Too many reasons to come back.

I wish there was more stars to give , everyone from the owner to the front desk and bill there mechanic our truly the best people me and my family have meet , I will always stay there as long as they have room for us , truly a experience that will last a lifetime for us , thank you again for everything, all of you at tarpon inn

Pricey but worth it. I didn't like the bacon wrapped filet. It was pretty much all bacon. Drinks were great!

Amazing little hotel. But be advised that these are just rooms to sleep in with the bathroom. See pictures on their website. The pictures are accurate. There are no other amenities, no TV in most rooms. The grounds are lovely, the pool is very refreshing and the porches are the best place to spend a hot hot day at the beach enjoying a cool breeze. Roosevelt is a great place to grab the drink a while in Port A.
