McMenamins Crystal Hotel

A really cool place with a great vibe. Staff was awesome and really friendly. Bar was great, our server Nan was the best! I would recommend to anybody looking for a hip place.

Can't wait to stay again. In such a great location. The soaking pool was the highlight though.

The only negatives (like a fair bit of road noise & not a lot of sound insulation) are inherent in old buildings - which is the whole point of what McMennamins does. I love these old buildings & McMennamins does such a great job with them. As long as you go in ok with that & don't need it to be different, it is just fabulous. The warm pool was wonderful! A definite highlight. The people were all really friendly and helpful.

This place is a one of kind experience with soaking pool underground.

Always a great stay at mcmenamins. Very helpful staff. Accommodated my very late arrival and graciously gave me a late checkout time since my 4 hour travel day had turned into a 12 hour mess. Wonderful service.

The daytime staff were all very pleasant and helpful. I cant speak to the overnight front desk person but they were in a less than helpful conversation when I passed by. The AC in one of the king suits SUCKS. And I wasn't the only one with this issue as there was someone else complaining about their AC on the way by. 80 out, with AC set to 62 and it was still on the verge of too warm to be comfortable and opening the windows is less than ideal with no screens. Any hotter out and I couldnt have stayed. Hotel breakfast was alright and virtual check out was nice. For a hotel near a music venue it's also so INSANELY DARK in the king suite I had I had to use my phones flashlight to organize my bag when I got back from the show with EVERY light on in the room. Maybe to hide how dingy the carpet felt and likely looked.
