Santa Fe Pride is run by the Human Rights Alliance (HRA), a nonprofit that has worked on LGBTQ+ equality in New Mexico since 1993 and runs The PRIDE Center on Parkway Drive. The main day is a parade followed by Pride on the Plaza, a free street festival on the downtown plaza with vendor booths, a stage and community groups.
The 2026 edition was on Saturday 27 June. The parade started at 10am from the Lamy Building parking lot off Paseo de Peralta, and the festival ran into the late afternoon. HRA's executive director put the crowd at more than 15,000 and called it the biggest Pride in the city's history. That figure is the organiser's own estimate, not an independent count. The City of Santa Fe and Santa Fe County were among the main sponsors.
For 2027, HRA has announced a longer programme. Pride Month events start on 1 June, a new Pride Week starts on 20 June, and the parade and festival are on 26 and 27 June. HRA is marking it as the 34th anniversary of both the organisation and Pride Santa Fe.
Santa Fe sits at about 2,100 metres, and the June sun on the plaza is strong. Bring water and a hat.
