Sofitel Cotonou Marina Hotel & Spa

I didn't go there to stay in the hotel itself, but rather to experience the restaurant, so I can't comment on the rooms. However, seeing a hotel like this in Benin is clearly a source of national pride… I've seen all kinds and styles all over the world, and the Sofitel truly holds its own in terms of quality. At the Yannick restaurant, Laurence and Leila were wonderful hosts. The Wagyu beef burger… excellent… The Long Island Iced Tea was incredible… The pizza was delicious. The service was 100/10. We went back three times in three weeks. In short, I absolutely recommend it. Disclaimer: I'm posting this review in August 2026, but we were there in February 2026.

It was an unforgettable stay. My time at the Sofitel was perfect. The hotel is chic, beautiful, and pleasant. I give it 10 out of 10! 👍🥰

Very nice hotel and very good service

A wonderful experience that's off to a great start. Gilles Herman is very friendly. The stay is looking promising with him.

I came to the restaurant, but no one came to our table to give us the menu or anything for a good half hour. In the end, we left. I won't be back.
