Many visitors praise the Grand Plaza Hotel's excellent location, friendly and attentive staff, and clean, comfortable rooms, with the pool also being a highlight. However, some guests have reported issues with air conditioning not working and problems with room maintenance, such as leaks.

We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Plaza Marrakech and highly recommend this hotel. We had a family suite which was huge, very comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The entire hotel is perfectly maintained, and you really feel at home there. The children loved the pool and the amenities around it. The gym is also a real bonus. Special mention goes to the breakfasts, which are excellent, varied, and of very high quality. The little detail that brought a smile to the whole family's face: the three little turtles that roam around the pool. The children adored them! Finally, all the staff are remarkably kind. Always smiling, available, and attentive, they greatly contribute to making our stay enjoyable. When we return to Marrakech, we will definitely stay at the Grand Plaza Marrakech again. Thank you to the entire team for this wonderful holiday.
Nice. Nice... a quiet... popular place
Overall, this was a decent hotel and we had an enjoyable holiday with a group of friends. The rooms were clean throughout our stay, and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. However, our experience on the last day left a disappointing final impression. Our flight was later in the day, so although we had already checked out, we returned to the hotel after getting some food. We were told that we couldn’t eat in the lobby, which is understandable and we respected that rule. The issue was not the rule itself, but the way it was communicated. The staff member who spoke to us was unexpectedly rude and dismissive, which was disappointing given how polite and welcoming the staff had been during the previous five nights of our stay. It felt as though once we had checked out, we were no longer treated with the same level of courtesy that we had experienced throughout the rest of our visit. Aside from this incident, we were generally happy with the hotel and our stay overall was pleasant. The hotel just needs to ensure that guests are treated respectfully at all times, including after checkout.

The hotel is very well located, just steps from the train station, ideal for a one- or two-night stay. A major highlight is the truly magnificent swimming pool, and the accompanying restaurant is excellent. The staff is very pleasant. A special mention goes to Abdelrrazak at breakfast: always smiling and welcoming, you can tell he genuinely loves his job. Thank you! Unfortunately, the noise from the street is far too disruptive, making nights very difficult. This is a deal-breaker for me. Bad
