Smallish menu with some specials means you are limited on choice but overall food is fantastic. Great service and vibe. Sensational spaghetti marinara if that’s your thing.

wow...just had the most wonderful italian experience for lunch. Excellent food, the waiter was professional, polite and personal with a good sense of italian humour and loved the no nonsense rustic industrial shic look of the dinning area....and we all love an open kitchen. thanks team

We chose Quando Quando Cucina for our anniversary expecting an authentic premium Italian Dining experience. Beautiful restaurant, warm welcome from the maître d’ but unfortunately that was where the excellence ended. When booking we advised that I have coeliac disease. Having read that the restaurant accommodates gluten-free diners including customised dishes I felt confident dining here. That confidence quickly disappeared. Our waitress appeared unfamiliar with both the menu and the specials. She couldn’t confidently answer questions about gluten-free options. For a restaurant positioning Itself at this level, it was disappointing. The service then became genuinely confusing. We had just received our entrees, when the main course pasta was brought to the table! We asked the waitress to please serve it after we finished our entrees, as is expected in any fine dining restaurant. The waitress seemed genuinely surprised and asked “I thought you would like it to be brought all together?” It suggested a fundamental misunderstanding of the most basic principles of restaurant service. My $52 gluten-free pasta was the biggest disappointment of the evening. For a dish described as Tagliolini with Porcini, Gorgonzola and truffle cream it arrived astonishingly barren. A slight sheen was all that hinted that a sauce had ever existed. The truffle was undetectable. The Gorgonzola was absent. The Porcini was scarce and the pasta itself was dry and undercooked (not al dente, but truly undercooked). It appeared to be cheap, store bought penne. Throughout the evening, our waitress was unnecessarily loud, dominating conversations at nearby tables and disrupting what should have been a relaxing experience. For two people, the food bill came to just under $180 (not including drinks). At that price, you expect knowledgeable staff, polished service and memorable food. Instead we left feeling the restaurant excels in creating the appearance of fine dining but fell well short. A beautiful room alone isn’t enough. Sadly we will not be returning.

Super friendly service, in a warm atmosphere. The food was full of flavour and authentic.

No high chair (not kid friendly), despite being a fine dining establishment for 2 years 'Fish of the day' was not included under the First Table special, although this was not mentioned as an exclusion in the 'Special Conditions'. Manager said we we should book for 4 people going forward (including our infant 6 month old) as they were at full capacity. However when we left by 7pm the restaurant was still half empty. Very overpriced. $17 for 1 dry prawn with hardly any meat. Pasta dishes were the standout.
