Under the Tree

Every Saturday, our parliament, which includes excellent chefs and other food experts, meets and together at 7:00 in the morning we talk about politics and a lot about good food and there is a lot of excellent choice of sandwiches and excellent pastries and salads. What is missing is good coffee and it is a shame that what is available is bitter and not tasty coffee and many times we have asked the restaurant manager to replace the coffee and it still continues with bitter and not tasty coffee and it is a shame because we have already stopped ordering because it is really bad - I hope something will change

We ordered two vegan dishes. The curry was very tasty, but the "greens" dish was disappointing – mainly a large pile of white rice with a few greens on top and tofu. The tofu itself was good, but beyond that the dish was dry, tasteless and unbalanced. In both dishes too, the amount of rice was disproportionate to the other ingredients. We wanted to order a vegan dessert, but apart from a date ball there was no option. Overall a pretty disappointing experience.
