Title: Misleading Pricing and Poor Communication - Avoid This Hotel! I had a very disappointing experience with this hotel. Before arriving, I called to make a reservation and clearly mentioned that I would be staying alone most of the time, but occasionally a friend might join me. The staff agreed to offer me a discounted rate of 2000 NPR per night. However, when I arrived, the situation changed completely. First, after showing me the room, the staff demanded 2500 NPR instead of the agreed-upon 2000 NPR. They claimed that I would need to switch to another room to get the original rate. Since I had extra cash, I paid for one night upfront (even though they initially said I could pay at the end of my stay), hoping to resolve the issue later. To make matters worse, when my friend visited me in the evening, the front desk charged him an additional 500 NPR without any prior notice or explanation. I had already informed them during the initial phone call that my friend might occasionally stay with me, and there was no mention of an extra fee for guests. This kind of misleading pricing and lack of transparency is unacceptable. I feel cheated and would not recommend this hotel to anyone. If you value honesty and clear communication, look for another place to stay.

Prime location, peace & clean.

White sheets, clean, hot water available, elevator access, located in the heart of Thamel, but quiet because it's situated in an alley, and convenient for shopping and dining. I booked the room online for my first night in Nepal, and stayed two more nights later; the owner gave me a good price.

The room is clean and comfortable, with a quiet and pleasant surrounding environment, making it relaxing and satisfying.

Pros: 1. Hotel located at a very prime location in Thamel market. 2. Vehicle parking available in the basement favourable for 2-wheeler. 3. Staff was very kind to us. 4. Guest entry and parking is allowed without any doubt. 5. Decent attached washroom available. 6. Basic amenities available inside the room and rest at nearby shops like laundry service and all. 7. Stay was smoothly extended with the same day rate. Cons: 1. Rooms were perfect for 2 person and quited congested for 3 seater. 2. Air conditioning could have been better. 3. I requested for a room with balcony, but they didn’t fulfill it. Though the wide window does it work perfectly. Overall my experience with the stay was decent enough. In future, I prefer to stay in same hotel whenever visited Ktm next time.
