Dongtan Beach (South End, After Dark)

The southern end of Dongtan Beach - the gay stretch of Jomtien Beach below South Pattaya - is known as a late-evening cruising spot once the daytime beach chairs pack up. It sits a short walk from the Jomtien Complex bars and the Pratumnak saunas. Thailand is broadly tolerant and same-sex activity is legal, but this is an unlit public beach after dark: stay to open areas, keep valuables secure, respect anyone who is not interested, and be aware that public sexual activity itself remains against the law.
