Marriott Armenia Yerevan

We stayed at this hotel for a few weeks, and the food service was consistently terrible. Even a simple sandwich regularly took 1–2 hours to arrive. This wasn’t a one-time issue—it happened almost every time we ordered. The staff would apologize and offer not to charge us, but that’s not the point. This is far below what you’d expect from a Marriott and felt more like a budget 2-star hotel.

This was not the Marriott experience I was expecting. Room was in old building. Had to negotiate many stairs to get there. Rooms looked like they were from the Soviet era and in great need of updating to get to 4 stars. They should not use these rooms during the renovation! Shame on Marriott. On the positive. Great location and very good service.

We stayed at the Yerevan Marriott for 9 days with our guided tour group. Our room was clean and comfortable. The service and staff are outstanding. Delicious and extravagant breakfast included. The breakfast and kitchen staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Room service is very good and convenient, especially after a long day of travel. Of course the location is the best in the city, right at Republic Square. We definitely recommend this hotel for first-time touring groups staying in Yerevan. My only critique is the shower. We had issues with two showers in different rooms leaking water into the rest of the bathroom area, so I advise requesting additional towels for the floor. Otherwise, our stay was great.

Very poor services, lack of employees, no staff available most of the time, missing items in bathroom. Rooms have very low ceiling. Very slow service response. The worst 5 stars hotel I have even been in 15 years

The Marriott Yerevan has a great location, good breakfasts, and excellent restaurant staff. However, the quality of cleaning, the technical condition of the rooms, the speed of reception, and the overall attitude toward guests, in my opinion, do not correspond to the level of a five-star hotel and the international Marriott brand. During my five-night stay, I had to change rooms twice (635 → 727 → 635), and repeatedly contacted reception regarding room relocation, cleaning, and technical issues. Unfortunately, most issues were only resolved after repeated inquiries. I am leaving this review not to criticize, but because I sincerely believe this hotel has enormous potential. I would very much like the quality of service to match the high standards of the Marriott chain, which is why many guests, including myself, choose this brand. I sincerely hope that the hotel management will take this review as constructive feedback. I truly love the Marriott brand, and that's why I'm especially keen for the hotel in Yerevan to meet the high service standards I've seen in other hotels in the chain.

Best hotel in Armenia. For a surprisingly cheap price this doesn’t just stand out but it shines. Everything is amazing.

We had an amazing stay at the Marriott Hotel Yerevan, and the hospitality exceeded all our expectations. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and well-maintained, and the location is perfect for exploring Yerevan. The highlight of our stay was the exceptional dining experience. A special thank you to Chef Bhanu and Mahesh for taking such wonderful care of us. As vegetarians, we truly appreciated the effort Chef Bhanu put into preparing delicious, fresh, and flavorful meals that made us feel right at home. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and exceeded our expectations. Mahesh was equally outstanding. His warm smile, attentiveness, and genuine care made every meal a pleasant experience. He consistently went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The kindness, professionalism, and personalized service from both Chef Bhanu and Mahesh made our stay truly memorable. They are a wonderful asset to Marriott Hotel Yerevan, and we are grateful for the unforgettable hospitality they provided. We highly recommend Marriott Hotel Yerevan to anyone visiting Armenia. We look forward to coming back!
