Urania is a historic building in Vienna, Austria, that plays a significant cultural and scientific role for the city. It was inaugurated in 1910 by Emperor Franz Joseph I, based on a design by architect Max Fabian in the Art Nouveau style. It is located on the banks of the Danube Canal and hosts various activities such as cinema, theater, conferences, and seminars. Telescopes for astronomical observations are installed in its dome.
