Ex Aequo

Ex Aequo is Brussels' gay and bisexual men's sexual-health association, based just off the Saint-Jacques gay quarter on Rue des Grands Carmes. Founded in the 1990s, it runs free HIV and STI screening, condom and information campaigns in the bars and saunas of the Marche au Charbon area, and community outreach across the French-speaking scene. The office doubles as a drop-in point where volunteers and health workers offer confidential advice. It is one of the anchor community organisations of the Brussels LGBTQ+ scene.
