BX. Merkez Hostel

My friends and I had a great time, but I'll start by saying we booked a quadruple room and had our own private bathroom. The elevator only worked with the room card, which makes our stay more secure. You can also have breakfast because there's a dedicated room, but the price was excessive. It's certainly in line with hotels, but hotels offer a continental breakfast for that price. However, I want to point out that this doesn't detract from my positive opinion of the property. Breakfast is easily available in the many small eateries right outside, and there's an excellent bakery just a few meters away.

This hostel is quite new, so is overall quite nice, but has a few tweaks to still work out. The location was fantastic and the local artwork was very neat. The dorm rooms were well set up and the beds had USB-C plugs which was a nice touch. The bathrooms did not have good ventilation, so became quite warm. The shower stalls would have benefitted from shelves to store products and a space to keep things dry. One of the showers also overflowed during our stay. A restaurant was attached which was helpful: they offered breakfast for a fee. The shared lounge space itself was not the most comfortable and had poor Wi-Fi signal. Free luggage storage was offered, which was helpful.

Nice option for a budget stay in Brussels city center for a couple of nights. We stayed there for one night in a double room. Everything was clean, beds are comfy and the view from top floor window is very pleasing! In addition, the lights are bright, so that one can easily apply good makeup just in the bathroom.

While the location is central and the AC worked well, the bathroom was poorly constructed, the door wouldn't close, and the showerhead wouldn't stay in place. These maintenance issues really ruined the stay for me. They definitely need to improve their facilities and quality control.

A quiet, clean, and pleasant place right in the center of Brussels. I'm used to hostels and I really liked this one.

Good location and service. One thing that could be greatly improved is the bathroom. There's nowhere to put anything, and the sink is tiny. You wash your face, and water splashes all over the floor. The showers do have space to put things down and are functional.

Very friendly customer service, very clean rooms and bathrooms, excellent location, and a very quiet and pleasant atmosphere.

The best sleeping experience you can expect from a hostel! Clean, wide bed with a mattress of just the right hardness&softness, and a curtain! Plenty room above head, there’s even a small rack attached to the wall on the side of your bed. 10/10 definitely!
