CRUNCH SAUNA

I remember when other saunas were better, and I was really disappointed by the size and the lack of young people on what was supposed to be a youth-oriented day. It was full of people in their 30s, 40s, even 50s. It's really far from the city center, which is a shame for such a large city that there's only one LGBT sauna. I don't think I'll be going back.

I can't remember when I first visited this wonderful sauna, but I know I absolutely loved it since I go there super regularly!! The people I meet there are so friendly and sexy... just like the bartenders, by the way... ❤️ I really love this sauna and I plan to go back very soon... tomorrow, in fact! Plus, the recent renovation is fantastic! Thank you so much and keep up the good work!! It's rare to find a place where you feel so at home! I hope you stay open forever!!!

UPGRADE 10/04/2026: Replaces the Thiers. It's a bit small, admittedly, but still very well-equipped (hammam, dry sauna, smoking room, plunge pool, two toilets) with two levels, a large dry sauna, and a large jacuzzi. The new changing rooms are spacious enough. Safety-wise, everything is OK: - Three independent emergency exits leading to the outside. - The basement has two staircases, one of which leads outside. - Numerous fire extinguishers. Friendly staff. Large pool, pump and filtration system recalibrated. Very good dry sauna. Hammam completely renovated. Refurbished decor on the ground floor: restructured bar area. Sling added in the basement. Some areas for improvement: 1. Standardized pricing. 2. Subject to compatibility with the Category IV liquor license, offer free coffee, as at Thiers. That said, there is very little room for maneuver since the real solution to these problems (including those related to clientele, see below) lies in relocating outside the city center. Google rating: 3/5 ================================ Regarding clientele: A factor not controlled by management. Subjective opinion by definition Where things fall apart is in the atmosphere and the clientele. It mostly feels like a constant parade of people milling about, looking at each other, sizing each other up, and then leaving immediately. Lots of posturing, little spontaneity, and even less warmth. In short: they often think they're irresistible, but it's neither very welcoming nor very lively. And this phenomenon isn't limited to young people: seniors are doing it too. Another problem is the location: for customers coming from outside the city, downtown Bordeaux is far from ideal. Inconvenient access, difficult and expensive parking, and complicated traffic. This isn't a minor detail, and it inevitably impacts customer traffic. A few improvements would be welcome: standardizing prices and offering a free coffee if regulations allow. In summary: a place that is clearly improving in terms of its physical condition, but whose atmosphere remains, in my opinion, quite cold and uninviting.

I'm a trans man who's been on hormones for a while. I transitioned very young, and there's no mistaking my identity when people see me, but, being used to experiencing transphobia, I still called ahead, just to be safe at the door. They simply told me, "We don't want that here!" I read reviews saying this bar is reminiscent of the '80s, and well, I definitely felt that eighties vibe! "We don't want 'THAT' here," seriously, am I a Stephen King novel? Am I Creature from the Black Lagoon? To make a long story short, I'm not about to recommend this sauna to anyone. I would have liked to go, but since they don't want "that" in the establishment, I'm just spreading the word. The gay community doesn't exist without the trans community, and vice versa.

I had a great time even though I didn't stay long, I'll be back as soon as possible. So why did I give it 4 stars? Well, the minor issues I encountered were with the showers—one of them leaked very slightly—and the glory hole area, in my opinion, was missing a TV with movies. That's just my personal opinion. On the other hand, the young blond guy was very welcoming; hmmm, I wouldn't mind a little romp with him 🤣🤣🤣. Of course, I recommend this gay sauna for a good time. See you soon, Team Crunch 😉

A very disturbing experience. During my visit, an individual introducing herself as "Tatiana" offered me cocaine. I also observed intrusive behavior (listening behind doors and attempting to film me without my consent). I contacted the establishment by phone to report the incidents, but the response was very dismissive and no serious action was taken. I am sharing this experience so that future customers are informed.

Very beautiful place

The welcome was friendly and the place was very clean, but it was really tiny and disappointing... We've been waiting a long time for at least one (small) intimate and welcoming video lounge, which is sorely lacking! There's plenty of space if they better arranged the basement, where a lot of room is wasted with bulky, empty glory holes... There's a nice screen at the bar, but people don't come to queue up for the football match or the continuous news... The video in the jacuzzi is just... awful, you might as well turn it off to save money! It's busy on Sundays. On Wednesdays, instead of being a "young people's day," it's mostly older people who come to watch TV, even though there aren't any more options due to the lack of attractive pricing... Bordeaux deserves much better; with no competition to date, whoever decides to open one will be successful and make a small or large fortune!

Small but functional but I didn't venture downstairs so probably bigger than I saw Great service from manager, will show you around if first visit. Some nice guys, all very friendly.
