There's nothing like it in Berlin, Kwia is an exception space and atmosphere for total relaxation and regulation. I attended a fundraiser for a community group, they invited DJs (more like soundscape artists) to play ambient music and sounds. Literally taking the weight of our feet to lie on soft cushions and be serenaded by chill music and chill people was truly an experience.

It was a great visit, very cozy, nice visuals and music. The only thing is that it was the ambient place but there was a photographer who was flashing in our faces every 5 min which got me annoyed and killed the vibe. I’d really like to return but because of that I’m not sure I’ll feel comfortable there. I’m not sure, but she was kinda rude when I asked her to not take photos of me 10€ for entrance

Fantastic place to enjoy ambient music in small groups, lovely people working at the bar and a very nice and eclectic crowd attending. You must take off your shoes at the entrance and walk around in slippers that the venue provides: so cozy! I'll for sure come back :)

Loved this bar, really friendly staff and great vibes. Very chilled out place to have a drink and relax and listen to ambient music, the decor is gorgeous as well. Recommend the banana negroni cocktail.

I've been to Berghain and spent a lot of time in the rave scene in Stockholm. Always felt quite familiar with alternative scenes For some reason the girl in the bar/entrance took it upon herself to refuse me and my friend as soon as we stepped in. She said that the "space" was not for us, but did not explain in much more detail. I wonder what her problem is and what she does during days. I hope she finds another arena where she can feel important.

I went in to this place because i was welcomed by a friend and heard it was a safe space and a nice enviroment. The lady in the entrance/bar abruptly refused me and told me it wasnt for me. I heard before it was queer and immigrant friendly but i felt the opposite.

The staff, event organisers, and interior design were all very pleasant, but the smell completely ruined the experience for me and my partner. We had planned to stay longer to listen to the artist we came for, but it was impossible to focus on the music because the smell was so overwhelming. The whole listening room, where people lie on the floor, is covered with rugs and filled with furniture. It seemed like none of it had been properly cleaned in a long time, even though people are expected to lie there and relax. I honestly do not understand how this even legal. In the end, we felt uncomfortable, worried about our health, and unable to enjoy the music, so we left before the main artist of the night had even started. Since this is an ambient venue, where the full sensory experience matters, the space should support that experience rather than work against it.

Intentional and beautifully curated space, a great range of artists and very kind staff. Berlin needs places like this!
