The food was very tasty, but we waited over an hour for the main course without anyone informing us, allowing us to order more drinks, or offering any compensation.

The food was very good, the staff tried hard, but were clearly poorly trained, if at all. The restaurant was empty except for our table and one other. Despite this, it took forever to set the table; even the aperitifs, which took a very long time, arrived faster than the cutlery. The way the Asian waiter served the wine demonstrated a complete lack of knowledge. Someone should teach him that white wine is only poured when the glass is empty, not half full. His language skills were very poor; either we could barely understand him, or he couldn't understand us. When serving the main course, he handed one of us the plate, asking us to take it from him, and then added: "Careful, it's very hot." At these prices, one would expect some bread to be served. Although we started dining outside at 6:30 pm, the cushions were already being removed from all the other tables, making it very uncomfortable. At this price point, one simply expects decent service.

Actually, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was lovely, and the service was very friendly… BUT: 1. The name and concept were changed a week before our visit—meaning we didn't eat at L’Heritage, but at YOU—unfortunately, we weren't informed of this. 2. The entire restaurant was reserved for VfB Stuttgart (the evening before the cup final), but no one was there until 9:45 p.m. meaning we were sitting alone in the large restaurant 😱😱😱—such an evening should be special, because you don't go to such an expensive restaurant just to eat! It's incredibly rude to leave us sitting there alone for three hours without any prior notice. 3. My steak was cold – it was being recooked (20 minutes later). This meant my dining companion tried to eat her asparagus in tiny bites so we could still eat together. 4. The menu was very small – just an excerpt from the L'Heritage menu – and there wasn't a set menu either. I'm incredibly angry that there was no communication before the reservation. A short message with the reservation confirmation the day before would have allowed us to decide for ourselves – especially since this wasn't an inexpensive meal. Even the complimentary glass of champagne couldn't salvage the evening – a real shame.

This restaurant visit will not be memorable. For €99, I expected significantly more from the menu. There was neither bread nor an amuse-bouche. The four courses were perfectly acceptable in terms of taste, but nothing special. The chocolate cake for dessert tasted exactly like the frozen kind you get at Metro. It shouldn't be difficult to make that yourself… There was only one server for the entire restaurant, assisted by the somewhat overwhelmed bartender (?). Both were very friendly, but I expect better from a fine dining experience. The price-performance ratio is unfortunately completely off.

We had our wedding reception at Heritage last year. It was an absolutely perfect evening, superbly organized by Anna Sefrin and brilliantly executed by her team! I've already written a review about it. As a tradition, we'll now eat here every year on our wedding anniversary. Yesterday was the first time. :-) We had, of course, reserved a table in advance and were truly touched that they decorated our chosen table with paper hearts and invited us for a glass of Crémant upon arrival. I think that's really exceptional, especially these days. Everyone on the staff knew the reason for our visit and congratulated us. Just like last year, we immediately felt welcome and comfortable. Fantastic! The food was, as expected, very good. Yes, a three-course meal is also expensive and perhaps borderline pricey, but in our opinion, the quality is commensurate. The restaurant itself is beyond compare. For me, it's one of the most beautiful restaurants in Berlin and beyond! The service is, in our opinion, perfectly balanced between the necessary courtesy one expects at this level and a very pleasant, understated informality. This creates a thoroughly comfortable atmosphere. Yes, as some have criticized, the staff aren't at our table every two minutes, but we don't need that. I prefer it this way to being constantly asked if we'd like another glass of wine, etc. Ultimately, it's a matter of taste, but for us, it works very well. We enjoyed another wonderful evening at the Heritage and would therefore like to extend our sincere thanks to the service team, the chefs, and Anna. By the way, anyone planning a family celebration at the Heritage should be in excellent hands with Anna Sefrin. She was one of the reasons we chose the Heritage as our wedding venue.
