SC AufRuhr e.V.

SC AufRuhr calls itself the queer sports club of the Ruhr. It was founded in 1991 and has more than 230 members. Sports include badminton, bowling, football, cycling, swimming, dancing, table tennis and volleyball. Training is spread across halls in several Ruhr cities, not one clubhouse. Google lists the club at Große Beckstraße 12 in Bochum; its postal address is c/o Stadtteilzentrum H2Ö in Herne. Training days and venues for each sport are on sc-aufruhr.de, and newcomers can usually try a session first.
