City Hotel Hanseatic Bremen

As has been written many times before, no one is present. However, I can be reached by phone, so everything is OK.

The room is huge and the bed comfortable. The bathroom is spacious, and the kitchenette can be tucked away in the cupboard. Located right in the city center yet very quiet, this hotel offers simple but well-designed comforts. If you can do without a reception area and a steam room, this is the place for you.

The hotel is easily accessible on foot and by bicycle and is very centrally located, so all the sights are within walking distance. However, the small, narrow alley where the hotel and its entrance are located isn't very confidence-inspiring. I had already paid the bill in advance by bank transfer, as there's no reception on site, which is a bit odd. But I was aware of that. So I rang the bell and was greeted very warmly via the intercom. The lady was expecting me and told me where my room was and that the key was in the lock. I was able to store my bicycle in the basement, which I had to carry down a very narrow staircase. I had a bit of a bad feeling about it. But it was still there the next day. :-) The really very large room with a kitchenette was a bit dated and not particularly attractive, but clean, functional, and reasonably priced. My view from the window was limited by a row of houses about two meters away on the opposite side of the street. Breakfast wasn't offered at the time of my arrival. There was a breakfast room, and through the locked glass door I could see that the tables were set for breakfast. But even there... everything was very old-fashioned. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for anxious people who also expect comfort. Personally, though, I would book it again for that price and for one night.

Very centrally located, large room, spacious bathroom, everything is new. It's best to let them know you're arriving... there's no reception, but it's not a problem.

The room was fantastic, big, clean, good beds, very modern, nice bathroom, kitchenette, everything was great, super centrally located, super friendly and uncomplicated contact, we'll be back!!

We stayed at this hotel for one night in a 3-bed room during our visit to the Christmas market. The hotel is good for the price. Everything was fine.

Spacious and tidy rooms. Nice bathroom with a good shower. There is no reception (July 2022). Breakfast is not served at this location. The Wi-Fi is reasonable. The location is ideally situated in the city center of Bremen. All sights are within walking distance. There is a parking garage nearby. Alternatively, you can use the free P&R at the Roland Center and take the tram from there to Domsheide (line 8).

Great room, reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend.
