Sommersonne, Strand und Partys: 25 Jahre nach seinem späten Outing genießt der 76-jährige Vicente sein Leben als offen schwuler Mann auf Gran Canaria. Doch ein plötzlicher Schlaganfall verändert alles: Seine Tochter holt ihn nach San Sebastián zurück, er landet in einem Pflegeheim und muss einmal mehr ein neues Leben beginnen. Denn um Problemen aus dem Weg zu gehen, verheimlicht er nun wieder seine Sexualität und wird zu dem traurigen alten Mann, der er nie sein wollte. Bis ihm sein neuer Mitbewohner klarmacht, dass er sich damit nicht abfinden darf.
