München Sauna on Müllerstraße has been part of the Glockenbachviertel's gay infrastructure for decades, occupying the neighbourhood option category that every gay district needs: a sauna that is not the largest or the newest but which is embedded in the local scene and serves the regular clientele who prefer familiarity and character over modern facilities. The venue has the traditional gay sauna format: steam room, dry sauna section, darkroom, rest area and locker facilities. The Müllerstraße location puts it on the main commercial street of the gay district, accessible on foot from virtually all of Glockenbachviertel's other venues. Regular theme nights supplement the standard operation.
